My awsome mail today!
So, I know I'm a big nerd but I just like other countries money better than ours. Sooo I was really excited because I have been waiting on this for a little over a month! I don't know how much a lot of it is, but the worth of the bills I do know is very little like a few us cents a piece.
There is actually a lot more but I am tired of uploading the pictures.... (lazy, I know)

sooo,
I got a promotion that I did not want but was to afraid to turn it down because I didnt want to loose any job I might have :( I have been looking for a new job somewhere else for months now, double :( The thing is, I want to go to nursing school and my boss would not like that at all because he wants me to stay there forever and be whatever he wants me to be. But I have hope, I have a possible job lead. It's not what I really really wanted but I think it would turn out great. It is an 8-5 mon-fri job like a block from the nursing school I am trying to get into! It's something that I know and Im pretty good at so it will be pretty easy for me so I can concentrate more on school. So I am really excited but I dont even have an interview or anything so as of right now its kinda a long shot but we will see. Hopefully by the end of the week I will know a little more....
Anyone who reads this cross your fingers for me!

The hubby got paid today,
and I went shopping!!
Haha.
I haven't done a whole lot of decorating since I moved in last July, but the last few weeks I have been stuck on HGTV soooo needless to say I have been in a decorating mood. Curtains were my first step. Last weekend I started on the living room. I bought plain sheers from Big Lots for $5 a piece. I made my own curtain rod and its kinda ghetto but I don't think its too bad. I bought two metal curtain holdbacks for about $5 a piece and a piece of molding that was on sale for $4 and had Lowes cut it to the perfect size. I am going to paint it so it looks a little better but I was in a hurry to get the curtains up. So this is how it turned out <3>
I also bought some pretty ribbon and made some bows for the curtains!
Today I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a real curtain rod lol. Its real cute too! We have a red wall in the bedroom so I bought the same color red for the windows that are actually on a tan wall. I have also not finished these curtains I still need to hem the edges. Here is a picture with a little of the red wall showing.
Here is a close up of the detail of the rod and accessories (and the unfinished edge).

My first blog hop thing!
But this looked like so much fun I had to book mark the host's site and play along. I chose two pictures to blog. I didn't choose either one because they were good pictures but because of the emotions they make me have.
This has to be the first picture to ever make me cry and laugh at the same exact time. It was the first picture my husband emailed me from his tour in Iraq in 2008 (after I had found out about the mortar and rocket attacks on the base). I have never been through a harder time in my life and it was so good to see that he was still the same big goofball.
